I'm moving to Melbourne in the summer next year to teach English (except I plan to stay permanently unlike many who move to different countries). I'm 22 and coming over on my own and my mentality is that if I have a band of friends that I can communicate now and possibly meet up with when I arrive then hopefully I wont feel so alone and isolated; or so is my plan.
Was just wondering what are the best ways to do this? Is this website one of them? It's quite daunting so i'm welcoming any advice at all haha! Im from the UK by the way.
