Drinks Next Saturday

Hi guys,



I have been on a couple of forums aimed at meeting folk in Melbourne and there has been a night out arranged on another website for Saturday 14th. It's at the Skyline bar at Crown Casino (I've never been there but apparently it's not too loud so folk can actually chat) and is from 7.30pm onwards.



It's for anyone who wants to meet new people in Melbourne so come along if you're free!

Also, the night out is FRIDAY 14th, not Sat as I said above!

This is a little confusing. Just googled and went to the Crown Casino website just to make sure only to find no bars called Skyline bar...hmm is it on the Yarra promenade or actually within the Crown complex?

The bar was chosen by someone in a different forum and, after phoning the casino, it appears there is no bar called Skyline.



I've been in touch with the girl who organised it all so hopefully she'll be back in touch soon! Will keep you posted.

Oh, and just making sure you all notice the day change! It's FRIDAY 14th, not Sat - in other words tonight!

Ok, here's the reply I got from the girl organising it. She works there so she'd be sure to know! See you there!

They are such a nightmare (trust me i work at Crown)

OK to get to the bar, you can go two ways:



First option - head into the gaming floor, to Sports bar (well known). Behind sports bar there are stairs up to the 1st floor gaming area. Head up here, then at the top walk diagonally right and you will see Skyline Bar.



If you get stuck there are 2 more bars at the top of the stairs, head to either Arena or Tangerine and they will direct you.



Second option - Head to cinema on 1st floor. Next to cinema is an entrance to the gaming floor. Head into here and you will see the stairs you walked up in option 1 !!



Hope this makes sense, if you still cannot find it ask one of the bar mangers they will know.
