New Year 2008 Celebration In Melbourne

Can anyone give me ideas of what to do in Melbourne for New Years Eve celebration?



I've missed out on tix to Falls and Pyramid Rock fests... I don't want to go to a nightclub, or roam the streets of the city ..



What else is there to do that is fun and cheap!?!? Any ideas would be nice. Does anyone know about any parties on the beach?
