GUYS AND DOLLS, in a dazzling new production, direct from Londonâs West End, will play at Melbourneâs Princess Theatre from 26 March 2008. Featuring one of the most sensational Australian casts ever assembled â Lisa McCune, Marina Prior, Ian Stenlake, Garry McDonald, Shane Jacobson and Magda Szubanksi - this production is full of breath-taking dance routines, fabulous costumes and bursting with classic hits such as âLuck be a Ladyâ, âSit Down, Youâre Rockinâ The Boatâ, âSue Meâ and âGuys and Dollsâ.
Set in New York in the 40âs, small-time gambler Nathan Detroit bets his big-time pal Sky Masterson that he canât make the next woman he sees fall in love with him. When the next âdollâ happens to be the neighbourhood missionary Sarah Brown, the stage is set for high-spirited entertainment.
